Iceland pays £1.25m for Tallaght store

Frozen food multiple Iceland has paid £1.25 million for the Supervalu store at Old Blessington Road, Tallaght, Dublin 24. The building, which was formerly occupied by H Williams, has 10,000 square feet of space and a basement of half that size. The sale included two adjoining shops, which are producing £33,000 per annum. Hamilton Osborne King and Tom Maher handled the sale for the Musgrave group.

In the city centre, fashion retailer Monsoon is moving into the former Impact store in Mary Street, which forms part of Jervis Shopping Centre. The company, which has outlets in Grafton Street and Limerick, is believed to be paying a rent in excess of £120,000 for the store, which has 1,000 square feet at street level and 900 in the basement.

Hamilton Osborne King and Lambert Smith Hampton are agents for the Jervis Centre.
