The Irish subsidiary of a US bank based at Dublin's International Financial Services Centre has taken a long lease of an office block at the nearby Irish Life Centre. The bank will be paying a rent of £380,000 per annum for 28,000 sq ft in Block C of Abbey Court, the equivalent of £12.80 per sq ft and £1,200 for car-parking spaces. The 25-year lease provides a break option in the eight year. The block was built in 1985 and was previously occupied by Church & General Insurance. Duncan Lyster of Hamilton Osborne King, who handled the letting, has also received offers for the two last office suites in the Irish Life Centre, one with 4,800 sq ft and the other with 2,900 sq ft. Mark O'Brien of Morrisseys acted for the US bank.
