Now that the budget for an interior design consultation has gone up in smoke along with the new car, a foreign holiday and SkyTV, free advice could be exactly what you need.
The Spring Design Fair at Beacon South Quarter in Dublin’s Sandyford this Saturday promises free architectural and interior design guidance in abundance. TV architect Dermot Bannon will give a talk on extensions and renovations touching on what areas are best to invest in and the planning and timing of projects and costs.
The event is open to all but pre-registration on beaconsouthquarter.ie is essential. Interiors specialists from these pages will also offer their expertise, including Denise O’Connor, who will guide people through the minefield of introducing colour successfully to a home, and Alanna Gallagher, who will offer tips on creating moodboards.
The Beacon South Quarter is home to a range of furniture retailers including Bo Concept, Calligaris, Kube, Roche Bobois and SOUL Lifestyle, who will all be showcasing on the day.
