THE slowdown in the UK retail market has not deterred some of their multiple traders from looking for new business opportunities in Ireland. The latest company seeking a store in Dublin is the Scottish-based women's fashion group, International, which has 50 outlets in the UK and the North. However, it is unlikely to find it easy to secure a Dublin base: International is looking for a store of 15,000 to 20,000 sq ft - a size not readily available in the city.
