Investors are promised an annual guaranteed return of 6 per cent per year for six years, along with 60 days complimentary use of the villas, which come with their own infinity pools.
The units, ranging from 451-488sq m (4,854-5,252sq ft) are large: as well as private pools, they each have a steam room, Jacuzzi and sun deck. They also have access to amenities of the hotel which is part of the Banyan Tree resort.
Four more Banyan Tree Residences are to be launched this year in Bangkok, Lijang in China, Bintan in Indonesia and in the Seychelles. Prices will start at around €550,000 for 241sq m (2,594sq ft) two-bedroom townhouses.
