Irish Life is pre-funding two more high tech buildings in City West business park in west Dublin at a cost of around £5 million. The first of the 40,000 sq ft buildings will be ready for occupation next month and the second will be ready for fit out in September. The space is likely to rent at £6 to £7 per sq ft. City West has proved lucky for Irish Life, which has already found three international tenants for buildings there which represent an investment of over £10 million.

The company and Canada Life are also funding a £14 million development of two interlinking office blocks at East Point which have been let to Telecom Eireann. The 25 year leases provide for a break clause in the 15th year and the yield will be just under 7 per cent.
