Ganly Walters has sold Derrybawn House near Laragh in Co Wicklow by private treaty for over the guide price of £2m-plus (€2.53m).

The Italianate villa, which was built in the early 1800s, stands on 95 acres and is situated at the end of a winding driveway. It was recently run as an upmarket bed and breakfast by the current owners, who bought the property in 1978.

In Ranelagh, 1a Chester Road, a two-bedroom house, was withdrawn at £173,000 (€219,664) and sold later for over £180,000 (€228,552) by Lowe & Associates.

A two-bedroom cottage on four acres at Follistown, Navan, Co Meath was sold at auction for £172,000 (€218,394) by Smith Harrington Auctioneers.

A three-bedroom farmhouse on 180 acres, Clonickivan house in Killucan, Co Westmeath, was withdrawn at £800,000 (€1.01m) and is under negotiationt through Raymond Potterton.

A farmhouse on 12.5 acres, Killerk, Fethard, Co Tipperary was sold at auction for close to £200,000 (€253,947) through Quirke.

In Co Galway, a four-bedroom house on 0.5 acres at Bunowen, Ballyconneely, was withdrawn by Matt O'Sullivan, which is seeking £160,000 (€203,158).

The Corner House, at Shanagolden, Co Limerick, a residential public house comprising a grocery shop, off-licence and bar was sold by Rooney Auctioneers for close to £300,000 (€380,921).

In Co Wexford, The 19th licensed premises at Courtown Harbour, was sold at auction for £420,000 (€533,289)

Warren Estates, is seeking £700,000 (€888,816) for The Country Kitchen restaurant with overhead accommodation at Main Street, Gorey, following its withdrawal from auction.

In Co Meath, Grangegeeth Inn at Grangegeeth was sold after auction for over £500,000 (€634,869) by Remax-Royal County.

Also in Co Meath, The Village Inn in Slane was withdrawn at £360,000 (€457,105) and is under negotiation through Raymond Potterton.
