Ganly Walters has sold Derrybawn House near Laragh in Co Wicklow by private treaty for over the guide price of £2m-plus (€2.53m).
The Italianate villa, which was built in the early 1800s, stands on 95 acres and is situated at the end of a winding driveway. It was recently run as an upmarket bed and breakfast by the current owners, who bought the property in 1978.

The Corner House, at Shanagolden, Co Limerick, a residential public house comprising a grocery shop, off-licence and bar was sold by Rooney Auctioneers for close to £300,000 (€380,921).
In Co Wexford, The 19th licensed premises at Courtown Harbour, was sold at auction for £420,000 (€533,289)
Warren Estates, is seeking £700,000 (€888,816) for The Country Kitchen restaurant with overhead accommodation at Main Street, Gorey, following its withdrawal from auction.
In Co Meath, Grangegeeth Inn at Grangegeeth was sold after auction for over £500,000 (€634,869) by Remax-Royal County.
Also in Co Meath, The Village Inn in Slane was withdrawn at £360,000 (€457,105) and is under negotiation through Raymond Potterton.
