A large four-bedroom house on 22 acres, Siena, at Clownings, Straffan, Co Kildare, was the top auction property of the week, fetching £875,000 under the hammer through joint agents Jackson-Stops and Coonan.

In Dublin sales, Donard, a six-bedroom house on Kilmore Avenue, Killiney, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £1.35 million.

In Dalkey, a four-bedroom detached house, St Margarets, at Cunningham Road, fetched over £825,000 prior to auction through Lisney.

Also in Dalkey, Lisney is quoting £1.25 million for Gurteen, a five-bed detached house at Dalkey Avenue, following its withdrawal from auction.

In Glenageary, a four-bedroom detached house at 1 Rosenberg, Silchester Road, fetched £720,000 through Cumisky.

A five-bedroom house at 103 Silchester Park made £405,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

A three-bedroom semi-detached house, Sefton, at 88 Adelaide Road, fetched £360,000 through Lisney.

In Dun Laoghaire, Lisney sold Royal Terrace House, at Royal Terrace, after auction for over the guide price of £500,000.

In Blackrock, a nine-bedroom house, Charleville, on New townpark Avenue, fetched £825,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

A four-bed semi, 1 Rowan Park made £340,000 after auction through Sherry FitzGerald.

A three-bedroom semi at 1 Maretimo Terrace, Blackrock, was withdrawn at £320,000 and sold later for a higher price through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Foxrock, a five-bedroom detached house at 33 Carin Hill, Westminster Road, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting over £650,000.

Off Brennanstown Road, 44 Holmwood, a five-bed detached house, was withdrawn by Gunne Residential, which is seeking £760,000.

A three-bedroom bungalow, Southwood, on 1.48 acres at Brennanstown Road, Carrick mines, made £1.1 million through Lisney.

Sherry FitzGerald sold a threebedroom cottage-style house, Marne, in Sandyford Village, at auction for £299,000.

Shankill House, on Ferndale Road, a Georgian detached house on over 12 acres at Shankill, was withdrawn by Lisney at £4.75 million. A two-bedroom bungalow on Greenhills Road, Tallaght, Dublin 24, fetched £305,000 through J.P. & M. Doyle.

Dublin 2 and 4

Lisney fetched £430,000 for a two-bedroom apartment, at 7 Ashley Court, 31 Clyde Road, Ballsbridge. Also in Ballsbridge, a sevenbed semi-detached house, Pembroke Lodge, at 21 Pembroke Park, was withdrawn at £800,000 by Gunne Residential.

O'Mahony Auctioneers is seeking £285,000 for 10a Oaklands Drive, a three-bed semi, after it failed to sell at auction.

A one-bedroom apartment, Apartment 3, Bagod Rath, Pembroke Row, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £305,000.

In Donnybrook, a four-bed semi-detached house at 25 Belmont Avenue was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is seeking £450,000.

In Sandymount, Sherry FitzGerald fetched £424,000 at auction for a two-bedroom mews at 20 Gilford Drive.

Also in Sandymount, a three-bedroom terraced house at 2 Strand Mews, Lea Road, was withdrawn at £380,000 and sold later for about £400,000 by Bennetts.

In Dublin 2, a two-bedroom apartment, Apartment 29 Castlegate, at Lord Edward Street, was sold at auction for £379,000 by Brian Dwyer.

In Temple Bar, a three-bedroom apartment at 1 Blind Quay, Lower Exchange Street, was withdrawn at £390,000 and sold later for a higher price through Gunne Residential.

Dublin 6 and 8

In Rathmines, 18 Belgrave Square, a four-bedroom Victorian house, fetched £1.25 million through Lisney.

Nearby, two Victorian houses at 1 and 2 Grosvenor Square, were withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, now quoting £800,000 each.

Still in Rathmines, 17 Richmond Hill, a two-storey over garden level house, fetched £455,000 through Douglas Newman Good. A terraced period house needing modernisation at 45 Rathgar Road, Rathgar, made £630,000 through Mason Estates.

A three-bed townhouse at 1 Oak Apple Green, Rathgar, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is seeking £385,000.

Also in Rathgar, Iveragh, a three-bedroom townhouse on Garville Lane, was withdrawn at £260,000 by Gunne Residential, which is now seeking £300,000.

In Terenure, 27 Parkmore Drive, a four-bed semi, fetched £485,000 through Lisney. A four-bedroom semi-detached house at 26 Fortfield Drive, Terenure, fetched £416,000 through Gunne Residential.

Also in Terenure, 15 Oaklands Terrace, a three-bedroom house, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £255,000.

A four-bed semi-detached house at 63 Edenvale Road, Ranelagh, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which sold it later for about £480,000.

Also in Ranelagh, St James, a five-bedroom Edwardian house at 88 Sandford Road, was withdrawn at £700,000 by Lisney, which is quoting £880,000.

Dublin 14 and 16

Sherry FitzGerald is quoting £425,000 for 5 Embassy Lawn, Clonskeagh, a three-bed bungalow, following its withdrawal from auction at £390,000.

In Ardilea, Sherry FitzGerald is seeking £920,000 for 9 Salamanca, a five-bedroom detached house, following its withdrawal from auction.

In Rathfarnham, 102 Rathfarnham Woods, a five-bed detached house, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is seeking £580,000.

North Dublin

In Sutton, Dublin 13, a four-bedroom detached house at 39 Offington Avenue fetched £580,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Clontarf, 8 Castilla Park, a three-bed end-of-terrace house was sold at auction for £300,000 by Flynn & Associates.

A four-bedroom semi-detached house at 541 Griffith Avenue, Glasnevin, Dublin 11, made £405,000 by Lisney.

At 51 Iona Road, Glasnevin, a five-bedroom semi-detached fetched £400,000 through Mason Estates.

Still in Glasnevin, 4 Glasnevin Avenue, a semi-detached house, was withdrawn at £213,000 and sold later for a higher price by Martin Auctioneers.

In Drumcondra, 185 Griffith Avenue, a four-bed semi-detached house, made £450,000 by GWD.

Meanwhile at 8 Grace Park Road, Drumcondra, a split-level house made £140,000 through Martin Auctioneers.

Douglas Newman Good is seeking £250,000-plus for a four-bedroom house at 1 Library View Villas, Phibsboro. In Dublin 1, 12 Belvedere Road, a large three-storey house, was withdrawn at £300,000 by Martin Auctioneers.

In Castleknock, Dublin 15, 20 Castleknock Green, Deerpark Road, a four-bed bungalow, was sold at auction for £557,000 by Flynn & Associates.

In Lusk, a bungalow on 2.5 acres at Irishtown, Irishtown Lane, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £500,000.

Seven acres of land in Balbriggan, Co Dublin, was withdrawn and sold later for over the guide price of £120,000 by Hamilton Osborne King.

A five-bedroom detached house on an acre, Ashlea, at Hazelbrook, Malahide, Co Dublin, was withdrawn by Gunne Residential, which is quoting £850,000.

Wicklow

In Greystones, a four-bed Edwardian house, Adare, on St Vincent Road, was sold after auction for close to £500,000 by Jackson Stops.

Also in Greystones, a two-bed house at 6 Carrig Villas, Killincarrig, was withdrawn by H.J. Byrne and sold later for about £160,000.

A four-bed semi-detached house at 28 Meath Road, Bray, was withdrawn by H.J. Byrne, which is seeking £295,000.

A five-bedroom detached house, Drumbawn House, on 7.5 acres at Newtownmountkennedy, was withdrawn by Jackson-Stops, which is seeking £700,000.

In Rathdrum, Avonmore Caravan and Leisure Park, on 18 acres with two log cabins and a house, was withdrawn at £400,000 and is under negotiation through Harrington Lait.

Brophy Farrell is seeking £450,000 for The Birches, a seven/eight-bedroom bungalow on three acres in Blessington, following its withdrawal from auction at £412,000.

In Newcastle, 59 acres of agricultural land at Grange South was sold at auction for £1,13 million through Jackson-Stops.

A four-bed house with a two bedroom studio, Heather Lodge, in Mount Kennedy, Kilpedder, was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £525,000.

Provincial

In Co Kildare, 63 acres at Forenaghts Great, Furness, Naas, was withdrawn at £1.9 million and sold later for a higher price through Jordan.

In Leixlip, a four-bedroom detached bungalow on 0.8 acres, Inglewood, was sold at a Hamilton Osborne King auction for £520,000.

A three-bed cottage at 5 Temple Mill Cottages, Ardclough Road, Celbridge, was sold after auction for over £167,500 by Coonan.

Also in Celbridge, the same agent withdrew Orchard Villa, a bungalow on 0.75 acres on Dublin Road, at £260,000. It is currently under negotiation. In Co Louth, a six-bed detached house on 6.3 acres, The Old Rector, at Drumcar Village, was withdrawn by Hamilton Osborne King, which is quoting £750,000.

In Co Laois, Clongeera House, Durrow, an eight-bedroom period house on 30 acres, was sold at a Lisney auction for £830,000.

In Co Wexford, a two-bedroom cottage, Tara Hill, in Gorey, was sold at auction for £165,000 through Sherry FitzGerald O'Leary.

Still in Wexford, Clonhaston House, in Enniscorthy, was auctioned in two lots by Kehoe & Associates. Lot 1: the five-bedroom on four acres was withdrawn at £355,000 and is under negotiation. Lot 2: stone outbuildings on 3.7 acres made £195,000.

Commercial

In Dublin 2, 8 Fitzwilliam Square, a Georgian office building, was sold at auction for £2.6 million by Allen and Townsend.

A four-storey over basement office building at 2 Clare Street, Dublin 2, made £1.525 million at a Hamilton Osborne King auction.

An 18-bedroom hotel, The Dunes Hotel, in Donabate, Co Dublin, was withdrawn at £1.5 million and is under negotiation through joint agents Morrissey and John Younge.

In Lusk, Co Dublin, 3.75 acres of residential development land at Lusk Village Centre was sold prior to auction for over £1.25 million by Cumisky.

In Celbridge, Co Kildare, a residential/commercial property, Gleeson's, on Dublin Road, was withdrawn at £1,050,000 and sold later for a higher price through Coonan.

Gunne Commercial fetched £800,000 for a post office and shop at 4 Main Street, Maynooth, Co Kildare.

A 1.5-acre site with planning for six houses at Timolin, Moone, made £305,000 at auction through Columb Brazil ReMax Town and Country.

In Wexford, two Georgian buildings at 6 & 8 George Street, were withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald-Haythorthwaite, which is quoting £550,000.
