Summer has come to the west coast at last, and with it a good supply of waterfront properties onto the market.
You can moor your boat just outside Cnocadun (right), a modern house on a narrow stretch of land overlooking Lough Corrib, close to the village of Oughterard. The 1960s house has views from every room and a roof top deck that doubles as a summer diningroom. With planning permission in the area as rare as hen's teeth, says selling agent James Heaslip of Property Partners Heaslips, the house should attract plenty of interest. He has put an AMV of €850,000 on the property prior to auction on September 28th.
