Rock musician Ric Savage of Def Leppard fame is set to put his Vico Road house on the market and is moving back home to that gritty industrial city. Not of course that the move will leave Dalkey short on celebrities - Bono, The Edge and Van Morrison are just some of the parish's most famous residents - but news of a rock star leaving Vico and its environs is certainly a novelty after all those "Rock star in Dalkey house-hunt" headlines.
