Ski Homes ExhibitionAn exhibition of one to four-bedroom ski-in/ski-out apartments in the French Alps is being held by Savills HOK in the Westbury Hotel, Dublin 2, tomorrow and Saturday, April 20th and 21st.

Les Souverains apartments in Les Arcs 1800, a popular ski resort in the Savoie region of France, will cost from €340,000 for one-beds up to €693,000-plus for three-beds. The units range in size from 38.5sq m (444sq ft) to 73.05sq m (786sq ft), not including the balconies or terraces which come with each apartment. A total of 127 is planned.

Apartments can be bought either freehold, where the owner has full use of their unit, or to be put into the rental scheme run by ski giant Intrawest. If bought for rental, they are sold Vat-exclusive, bringing prices down to €285,000 to €580,000 for the one to four-beds. Under this arrangement, owners can use their unit for up to five weeks a year.

Ryanair and Aer Lingus both have regular flights to Lyon, two hours' drive from Les Arcs, with train and buses to the nearest village, Bourg St Maurice.
