Sailors in Crosshaven this week for Cork Yachting Week can view two apartments remaining for sale for sale at the former Grand Hotel, overlooking the Yacht Club.

Priced at €420,000 and €550,000, the two-bedroom apartments have been given a luxurious fit-out and both have views of Drake's Pool and the marina.

Selling agent Lynch & Company will be on hand from 2 pm each day this week for viewings. The mansard-roofed period building now contains twelve apartments. Each is individual in layout, with palatial sittingrooms, high ceilings, solid oak flooring or carpets and a choice of glamorous features such as chandeliers and Jacuzzi baths.

Kitchens are top-range Seimatic, with a selection of good quality appliances and granite worktops. Bathrooms are similarly well-equipped and include power showers.

The two apartments for sale this week measure 102 sq m (1,100 sq ft) and 158 sq m (1,700 sq ft) respectively. The largest unit on the ground floor includes a small terrace, while the slightly smaller apartment on the third floor has a sit-out balcony, the better to enjoy those views.

The apartments are ready to move into as soon as the paperwork is completed. The annual maintenance charge is €1,000.
