Shopfront: Maison is a new shop in Navan, opened a few weeks ago by sisters with a background in interior design, Maeve Ward and Deirdre Power.

Designer fabrics and quality accessories with a bit of style weren't in ready supply in the area, so three years after getting the idea for the shop, they have opened their doors.

The sisters are selling goods from well-known names such as Mulberry, Nina Campbell, Osborne & Little, Manuel Canovas, Villeray & Boch, and Zoffany from a pretty listed building.

The shop is divided in two: fabrics and wallpapers are displayed upstairs and accessories, bed linen, china, glassware and lighting, downstairs.

While many interior shops are dominated by the owner's particular style, Maison seems to be about adapting to the client's taste more than anything else - and the sisters also offer an interior decoration service.
