Malahide house and site to make £2m-plus

Dublin house-builders are likely to be interested in a large detached dormer bungalow and a development site of 3.54 acres on the edge of Malahide, Co Dublin, which goes to auction on November 4th. Joint agents Lisney and Shane Redmond are quoting a guideline price of £2 million-plus for Lissadel, a 3,000 sq ft house, and the extensive grounds at Swords Road, Malahide. The house has been owned by the same family for over 30 years and like the grounds has been well maintained. It has 300 ft of road frontage. Development sites in or near Malahide have been virtually impossible to find in recent years because of the popularity of the village and the shortage of houses in the area.
