With the Bacon tax measures now taking investors out of the Irish housing market, McInerney is offering alternative opportunities at Marbella, in Spain. Hamilton Osborne King is taking bookings for 21 apartments and townhouses at the Fairways, in Carib Playa. Prices start at £146,700 for two-bedroom apartments with over 1,100 sq ft.

Purchasers will have the option of availing of discounted family membership of the nearby Four Seasons Country Club, which was also handled by McInerneys. Fairways is located close to the sea and a short drive from Marbella town centre. It is also close to Puerto Banus. The first 31 apartments in Fairways were sold within 10 days last autumn. The development will eventually have 72 holiday homes. Each apartment includes a lounge, diningroom, fitted kitchen, two bathrooms, air-conditioning and sun terrace. There will also be an underground car-park and storage space.
