Remember the martello tower in Killiney? It's the one that went on the market last September asking £2.5 million (3.175 million), but then had its price slashed to £750,000 (952,500) earlier this year.
The dramatic price drop was one of the clearest indications that the five-year property boom had come to an end.
However, the tower, which was converted to a one-bedroom home in the 1970s, has since found a buyer.
Jackson-Stops says it has sold the property for £700,000 (889,000).
