There are mixed fortunes in the property business, with some agents operating on a skeleton staff while others are actively expanding. Hunters, which opened its third branch recently, has just hired estate agent Bobby Geraghty for its Pembroke Street branch.
Formerly Space property, Hunters is linked to auction house Allsop Space, and has branches in Dalkey and Foxrock. Geraghty previously worked for King & Associates in Ranelagh and before that spent six years at Savills.
Meanwhile Sherry FitzGerald has recruited Philip Guckian to its country homes, farms and estates team. With more than eight years experience, Guckian will work closely with David Ashmore, who also oversees the firm’s affiliation with Christies Real Estate International. From Co Meath he spent spent his early working years in Sherry Fitz’s Dunshaughlin office.
