Set on three acres, Odin’s Way is a small development just a 20-minute walk from Marlay Park in Rathfarnham. It sits opposite the entrance to the Grange Golf Cub and St Enda’s Park, where Patrick Pearse attended, is nearby.

The estate, which when complete will comprise 30 four-bed family homes, launched last February with five terraced homes ranging from €540,000 for a mid-terrace unit to €600,000 for the end of terrace. These ranged in size from 141sq m/1518sq ft to 145sq m/1561ft. There were also three semis sold at launch. These were priced about €590,000.

The developer is Stephen Murray’s Rosemount Properties, the firm behind Newcastle Glebe, Ballyowen Square and Wentworth Court in Lucan, and Marble Hall in Dunshaughlin. The design is by Rowe McGill Architects, who also did The Ramparts apartments in Loughlinstown and Rosehaven in Castleknock.

In phase two there are seven semi-detached, three-storey properties, 156sq m (1,679sq ft ) in size, being brought to market. All have west-facing gardens.
