On the right track in Kinsealy

Semi-rural, secluded group of bungalows off Kinsealy Lane in Malahide

Winding up what will soon be a tree-lined avenue, this small collection of four-bed detached family homes is part of a development of just 22 houses in total.

Surrounded by farmland and tucked away from the bustle of Malahide village (which is only a five-minute walk from the development), the last 10 of these bungalows were released this month, with just five still remaining. The Malahide area offers sandy beaches, a marina, golf courses and ample restaurants, making it a nice place to settle.

Working together

The first 12 bungalows of this development were built in 2013 by Carroll Estates, with the final 10 just built by building partners CE Caldwell – the two builders usually work hand in hand on sites, each taking their own half.

These houses all have 1722sq ft of floor space, an A3 BER rating, reasonable sized gardens and patio doors from the kitchen that open out onto the green area.

The kitchen is open-plan style, with space for a living room as well as a dining table. It is probably one of the best features of the property, benefitting from plenty of light through the patio doors and velux windows and also comes complete with sloping ceiling, island unit and appliances as standard.

There are two good-sized bedrooms, each with large en-suites, and two smaller bedrooms suitable for children. What would normally be the master bedroom (though either of the two en-suite rooms could act as master) also has a walk-in wardrobe with plenty of storage.

Of the 12 houses already sold, it’s seems they are attracting families already in the area who are trading up, attracted by the rural setting and generous bungalow sizes.

The showhouse is open this Saturday and Sunday, from 2.30-4.30pm.
