New homes in Rathfarnham and Shankill are on view this weekend – as are attractive period homes from Dundrum to Dún Laoghaire

PRICES AT Brehon Court, a small development of four new three-bedroom townhouses in Rathfarnham, Dublin 16, range from €460,000 to €495,000. The two-storey 120sq m (1,295sq ft) houses designed by architect Paul O’Toole have balconies off en suite main bedrooms, underfloor heating downstairs and landscaped and fenced back gardens. The scheme has no management fees. Brehon Court is close to the M50 and in walking distance of Marlay Park, according to selling agent Lisney.

THERE ARE more new homes on view in the second phase of Aubrey, a Tudor Homes development of 18 apartments near the M50 and the Dart in Shankill, Dublin 18. Prices have been reduced by 19 to 25 per cent in the scheme, launched in September 2008. HT Meagher O’Reilly is handling sales of the homes, which cost from €290,000 for 15 68-75sq m (727-808sq ft) two-bed apartments to €445,000 for the 97-105sq m (1,048-1,130sq ft) three-bed penthouses. All units have balconies. There are 31 homes in all in the development.
