Restful and rentable in Renvyle

Four-bed detached holiday homes in the grounds of Renvyle House in Connemara

The Lodges at Renvyle House in Connemara have the Atlantic Ocean as their back gardens and are a stone’s throw from the services of Renvyle House Hotel, a renowned country house that is celebrating its 130th year in business.

The modern detached properties were completed in 2006 and have been used by the hotel for guests.

The two-storey houses are now being put up for sale as holiday homes. Part of the appeal is that they give visitors their own independence but include use of the hotel facilities as part of a €490 management fee.

You can spend the days fly fishing for brown trout or go boating or canoeing on the nearby Rusheen Duff lake. Or play a round of golf on the hotel’s nine-hole course and make use of the hot tub and treatments as well as the outdoor swimming pool, although this is open during the summer months only. The hotel itself closes for the month of January.
