Originally there was a shower room downstairs. This has been moved upstairs, where there are also two double bedrooms, each with sliding wardrobes and a proper sized bathroom with the shower in the bath. There is a small yard to the rear, where there is room for a bistro-table though not much more.

However with all the coffee and tea houses in the neighbourhood, there are plenty of other places to people-watch and soak up the atmosphere.

Lennox Place is a very quiet street in Portobello and is a stone’s throw from the canal and close to both the city centre and Rathmines. Data from property website Myhome.ie and the Property Price Register has found that prices in Dublin rose by 25 per cent over the year to the end of September.
