DTZ Sherry FitzGerald's Galway office is quoting a rent of £10.50 (€13.33) and a selling price of £135 (€171) per sq ft for new office space under construction in Athlone. The Monksland Business Park will occupy a strategic location on the N6 Dublin-Galway primary route and will have extensive road frontage on to the proposed new motorway link between the two cities. The huge Elan headquarters is located close by.

The first phase of the park will have 60,000 sq ft of space in six blocks designed around a parkland setting. Each of the blocks will be linked to advanced telecommunications network Ocean Digital Corridor.
