SHERRY FITZGERALD has opened a dedicated lettings and property management franchise in Galway city.

Linda McCallion (above) will head up the venture which will operate within the Sherry FitzGerald Kavanagh group of businesses based at 4 Eyre Square.

Meanwhile, the Irish branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators has appointed Ciarán Fahy as its new chairman.

Dublin-based Ciarán Fahy is a chartered arbitrator and chartered engineer. He takes over from outgoing chairman Joe Behan.
