NEW appointments are like hen's teeth these days in the property industry but auctioneer Owen Reilly is bucking the trend by adding two more people to his team - Edel McAuliffeas lettings manager and Joanne McHugoas a residential sales negotiator.

Lettings is one of the more lucrative sides of the business and Edel McAuliffe started her career with GPK Properties in Rathfarnham spending three years as a negotiator and heading up lettings division in the Rathfarnham Branch before joining Wyse as a Property Manager. Joanne Mc Hugo previously worked with GPK, Lowe Associates and Daphne L. Kaye and Associates as a sales negotiator.

The company has also started a private buyer service. The service is mostly for Irish people returning to Ireland and non-nationals moving to Ireland who are unsure of the market here.

Owen Reilly says some clients are people frustrated by the lack of supply of homes within their budget coming to the open market and through this service they will also have access to off market properties.
