The Property Partners Group has announced the opening of a new Property Partners office in Galway.

Two of Galway city's longest established auctioneering businesses, Property Partners Heaslip and Maxwell Auctioneers, have joined forces to form Property Partners Maxwell & Heaslip. Between them they have over 80 years of experience in the property business. The new firm will operate from offices on Francis Street. Property Partners now has 55 offices around the country.

The Irish office of Knight Frank has set up a new rural professional services department. Surveyor Greville Miley has joined the firm to work in the new department, which will be headed up by rural property services specialist Callum Bain. Greville joins Knight Frank from the Property Partners franchise in Kimmage and Tallaght, Dublin and Naas, Co Kildare, where he was a residential negotiator for three years. Previously he worked with Gunne Residential as a residential negotiator and for Welsh company Beresford Adams.

Sherry FitzGerald Lewis Beirne has announced the appointment of two new associate directors - Jillian Byrne and Sinead Beggan. Jillian has worked with David Lewis and Joe Beirne for the last seven years and is branch manager of their Tallaght office which opened in February 2006. Sinead has also been with the company since 2001 and she was responsible for the opening the Clonee office in 2005.
