Two redbricks on two squares, both called Eaton, in different parts of Dublin are on view this weekend, writes ORNA MULCAHY Property Editor
- SAVILLS says it is open to “reasonable offers” on a detached five-bedroom house in the popular Avoca Park estate in Blackrock, Co Dublin, which is on the market at €1.295 million.

- JUST outside Wicklow town, a high-end development of three, four and five-bedroom houses at Keatingstown is on open view this weekend. Prices at The Friary have been cut by around 30 per cent for the homes, which start at €205,000 for three-bedroom semis. Four-bedroom detached houses are priced at €300,000, while large 253sq m (2,725sq ft) five-beds are priced at €390,000 through selling agent Gunne New Homes.

- IN TERENURE, one of the big, solid redbrick homes at Eaton Square has just come on the books at Douglas Newman Good at €850,000. The five-bedroom house is on the south-west side of the square where there is the least traffic, according to selling agent Pat Mullery. Number 41 needs a good deal of work, but it has good bones, with fine interconnecting reception rooms with marble mantelpieces and the main bedroom spanning the front of the house on the first floor. - APARTMENTS in the St Helens development facing the sea at Sandycove, Co Dublin, don’t come on the market too often but Sherry FitzGerald has one on its books, asking €595,000. It’s number 3, a first floor two-bedroom unit with sea views to the front, and a sunny south-west facing balcony off the kitchen to the rear.
