Though the industrial market in the Dublin area has slipped since the beginning of the year, selling prices appear to be holding up in many areas. Park Developments has just secured £103 and £104 (131 and 132) per sq ft for two light industrial units at Northern Cross Business Park on the North Road in Finglas, Dublin 11.

Dixon Bearings and Transmissions Ltd has paid just over £1 million (1.27m) for a unit of 10,354 sq ft including over 2,200 sq ft of offices. In the second deal, stationers K&M Evans have paid almost £900,000 (1.14m) for a building of 9,364 sq ft including around 2,000 sq ft of offices. Gavin Butler of Hamilton Osborne King says that Park has already sold half of the 430,000 sq ft of high-bay warehousing in the park, which is beside the M50.
