Sherry FitzGerald has sold 3 Ailesbury Road, Dublin 4, after auction for a price believed to be around £2.2 million. The two-storey over garden level Victorian semi-detached house was withdrawn from auction last week at £1.8 million.

Elsewhere in Dublin 4, Gunne secured £924,000 at auction for 73 Waterloo Road. The five-bedroom two-storey over garden level mid-terraced house is in need of refurbishment.

Nearby at 79 Waterloo Lane, a three-bedroom mews house was withdrawn at £395,000 and sold later for over £400,000 through Gunne.

Also in Ballsbridge, a two-bedroom apartment at 30 Elm Court, Merrion Road, was withdrawn at £240,000 by Gunne, which is quoting £275,000. A four-bedroom semi-detached house at 10 St Alban's Park, Sandymount, made £415,000 through Lisney.

Lisney is seeking £470,000 for 2 Churchill Terrace, Sandymount, a four-bedroom terraced house, after it failed to sell at auction.

Also in Sandymount, 23 Londonbridge Road, a two-bedroom terraced in good decorative order, sold at a Gunne auction for £390,000 - £200,000 over the agency's guide price.

Dublin 6 and 8

In Dartry, Sherry FitzGerald withdrew 7 Sunbury Gardens, a seven-bedroom three-storey Edwardian house from auction at £900,000 and sold it later for a higher price. Nearby, a five-bedroom mews house at 4b Temple Villas fetched £800,000 through Lisney.

In Templeogue, Dublin 6W, a four-bedroom detached house, New Haven, at 3 Ashfield, made £328,000 by Sherry FitzGerald. A seven-bedroom semi-detached house, at 92 Rathfarnham Road, Terenure, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is quoting £680,000. Hamilton Osborne King secured in excess of the guide price of £600,000-plus after auction for 15 Palmerston Gardens, a five-bedroom semi-detached house.

A two-storey over basement house at 21 Richmond Hill, Rathmines, sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £320,000.

Also in Rathmines, 26 Ardee Road, a three-bedroom semi-detached house, made £260,000 at auction through Gunne. The Kern, a one-bedroom townhouse at Grosvenor Lane, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £225,000.

In Ranelagh, 29 Charleston Avenue, a period house in six units, was sold at auction for £330,000 by Douglas Newman Good.

Meanwhile, Ross McParland fetched £325,000 at auction for 16 Upper Cherryfield Avenue, Ranelagh, a three-bedroom semidetached house.

A three-bedroom mid-terraced house at 9 Emorville Avenue, Portobello, made £290,000 through Jackson-Stops McCabe.

Also in Dublin 8, 54 Synge Street, a mid-terraced house in two apartments, was sold at auction for £361,000 by deVere White & Smyth.

At 40 Lombard Street West, a two-bedroom mid-terraced period house was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £230,000.

On the South Circular Road, Number 516, a four-bedroom end of terrace house, was withdrawn by Hamilton Osborne King, which is quoting £185,000.

In Killiney, a five-bedroom bungalow at 125 Avondale Road was sold after auction for over £300,000 through Lisney.

A detached six-bedroom house, Dalkey Manor, on Barnhill Road, Dalkey, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £975,000.

In Sandycove, 27 Dundela Avenue, a detached four-bedroom house, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £390,000.

Ganly Walters secured £247,000 at auction for Gurteen, a three-bedroom semi-detached house on Adelaide Road, Glenageary. Also in Glenageary, 35 Glenageary Woods, a four-bedroom detached house, was withdrawn by Lisney.

In Dun Laoghaire, 7 Belgrave Square, a four-bedroom Victorian house sold, at a Lisney auction for £690,000.

A mid-terraced four-bedroom house at 67 Patrick Street, Dun Laoghaire, was sold at auction for £291,000 through Gabriel Dooley.

A two-bedroom cottage, Waterfall Cottage, on Cherrywood Road, Dun Laoghaire, was sold at a Lisney auction for £192,500.

McNally Handy & Partners secured £289,000 at auction for a three-bedroom cottage at 5 Pembroke Cottages, Booterstown Avenue, Blackrock. Daphne L. Kaye & Associates is seeking £350,000 for 66 Granville Park, Blackrock, a four-bedroom bungalow, following its withdrawal from auction at £330,000.

Also in Blackrock, Taungs, a detached five-bedroom house at 28 Cross Avenue, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £515,000.

In Stillorgan, 10 Thorncliffe Park, a five-bedroom semi-detached house, was sold at a Lisney auction for £550,000.

Jackson-Stops McCabe is quoting £280,000 for a four-bedroom semi-detached house at 64 Brewery Road, Stillorgan, after it failed to sell at auction.

Lisney is seeking over £1 million for Tower Hill, a seven-bedroom house on 20.5 acres on Tibadden Lane, Rathfarnham, following its withdrawal from auction.

A five-bedroom bungalow, Findelin, on Stocking Lane, Rathfarnham, was withdrawn at £360,000 and is under negotiation through Douglas Newman Good.

In Churchtown, a two-bedroom detached bungalow at 43 Lower Churchtown Road made £372,000 by Sherry FitzGerald.

Also in Churchtown, 88 Woodlawn Park, a detached three-bedroom bungalow sold at auction for £355,000 through Ganly Walters.

North Dublin

In Sutton, Dublin 13, Inish Samer, a four-bedroom house on Dublin Road, was sold at auction for £620,000 by Sherry FitzGerald.

A four-bedroom semi-detached house at 68 Mount Prospect Avenue, Clontarf, Dublin 3, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £350,000.

In Glasnevin, 1 Cliftonville Road, a two-bedroom semi-detached house made £367,000 at a Sherry FitzGerald auction.

A three-bedroom semi-detached Strain-built house at 38 Iona Crescent, Glasnevin, was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £333,000.

Lisney is seeking £235,000 for 256 Griffith Avenue, Dublin 9, a four-bedroom mid-terraced house, following its withdrawal from auction.

Wicklow

Ross McParland secured £375,000 at auction for Aghatruhan Bridge, a detached five-bedroom house on nearly two acres at Kilbride, Brittas Bay.

In Enniskerry, a four-bedroom bungalow, Woodville, at Monastery, was withdrawn at £240,000 and sold later for a higher price by Hamilton Osborne King. A four-bedroom mid-terraced house, Belville, on Meath Road, Bray, was sold prior to auction for over the guide price of £240,000, through Gunne.

In Aughrim, a five-bedroom house, Sunnybank, on Rednagh Road, was sold for £220,000 at a Jackson-Stops McCabe auction.

Provincial

A five-bedroom Georgian house on 11 acres, Downings House, at Prosperous, Co Kildare, was withdrawn by joint agents JacksonStops McCabe and Coonan.

Lisney is quoting £335,000-plus for Aisling, a four-bedroom house on one-third of an acre on Easton Road, Leixlip, following its withdrawal from auction.

A 2.6-acre holding at Rath Kilmore, Kilcock, sold at auction for £14,500 by Sherry FitzGerald Royal.

Also in Co Kildare, 50 acres with an American-style barn and planning permission for a bungalow at Boleybeg, Brannockstown, was withdrawn and sold later for a higher price through Andrew J Nolan & Associates.

A four-bedroom bungalow on an acre, Ashdale, at Warrenstown, Dunboyne, Co Meath, was sold at auction for £231,000 by Ronald Duff & Associates.
