LINEN and academic robe manufacturer Phelan Conan is spending £1 million on a new premises at Dundrum Business Park in Dublin. The 13,000-square-foot building will consist of two adjoining units, which are being developed by John Paul Construction. The two units mark the start of the second phase of the development at the business park, which has a mixture of warehousing and light industrial space with a large proportion of high-tech offices. Three more units are under construction. Powercom 2000, a subsidiary of Briggs and Stratton, has leased Block II, which it is using as its European headquarters for software development.

Phelan Conan plans to sublet up to 7,000 square feet of its new space on a short-term basis through agents Sherry FitzGeraId. Lisney is the letting agent for the park.
