Location: former Premier Dairies, Whitehall Road, off Nutgrove Avenue, Churchtown, Dublin 14. Location: University Hall (Hatch Hall), Hatch Street Lower, Dublin 2. Proposed development: refurbish University Hall and change its use from residential/educational use to hotel. Demolish section of building at junction of Hatch Lane and Hatch Place. Internal alterations:remove internal partitions and screens, and add lift core. Replace section to be demolished at the junction of Hatch Lane and Hatch Place with a seven-storey hotel, interconnected with existing building. Two additional floors on the Hatch Lane four-storey elevation for hotel bedrooms. Location: site of around 0.24 hectares at Bonham Street and Island Street, Dublin 8, at the junction of Bonham Street and Island Street and with frontage on the south and east to Bonham Street and on the north to Island Street. Proposed development: 54 apartments, childcare facility, external play space at ground floor with community welfare, meeting and administration rooms at first floor, 40 basement car-parking spaces and 27 cycle spaces. The apartments are in four blocks around two shared landscaped gardens and are part four, five and seven-storey. Site and landscaping works. Location: Lords Walk, Phoenix Park, Dublin 8 (adjacent to the Polo Grounds). Proposed development: public car-parking for around 260 vehicles. Applicant: The Commissioners of Public Works.

Location: Aldborough House, bounded by Portland Row, Empress Place and Killarney Street, Dublin 1. Proposed development: redevelop site to a 40-bed day hospital facility. Conserve and restore three-storey house to accommodate 19 consultant suites with a four-storey glass lift to the north elevation. The southern wing of the main house to provide for ramped access to the annex which will accommodate a new physiotheraphy/diagnostics unit. The northern wing of the main house to accommodate ancillary services accessed from new double height glazed atrium which will connect to a proposed new three-storey medical building comprising of operating theatres, pre-op/post-op facilities, staff facilities, café, pharmacy and associated service facilities. DECISION TO GRANT
