Location: Seapoint Dart station, Seapoint Avenue, Blackrock, Co Dublin. Proposed development: 14.12-metre long by 1.72-metre wide steel railway footbridge, including steel staircases, over the Dublin to Wexford Line, to replace footbridge. Stone-clad lift shafts attached to the new footbridge on both platforms to facilitate full mobility impaired access to the station. Remove existing footbridge. Temporary removal of masonry wall adjacent to the station entrance and the installation of a temporary stairway access around the rear of the station building connecting to the northbound platform. Installation of a temporary footbridge at the north end of the platforms. Internal alterations and building works to the station building to accommodate the new footbridge, staircase and lift shafts, and the temporary access stairs to the rear of the building. Modifications to the station roof to accommodate the proposed lift shaft and stairs. Regrading the station entrance pathway in the immediate vicinity of the station entrance to match with the station concourse level and the station entrance will be modified to allow for full mobility impaired access.
