DECISION TO REFUSE

SOUTH DUBLIN

Location: Baldonnell Business Park, Baldonnell, Dublin 22. Proposed development: two-storey own-door office building of 18 own-door offices; light industrial warehouse comprising of six units with ancillary two-storey offices, car-parking and site works. Applicant: SIAC Construction Ltd.

Location: site of c. 0.2 hectares on lands at Airlie House (protected structure), Tandy's Lane, Finnstown, Lucan, Co Dublin. Proposed development: demolish two-storey extensions on the south-east corner and western elevation of Airlie House. Renovate and extend Airlie House to provide a crèche with 100 child spaces. Change of use of the remaining structure from dwelling to crèche use which will have 494.4sq m (5,322sq ft) and contain eight classrooms, one sleep room, a staffroom, an indoor activity street, kitchen, manager's office, laundry room/store plus ancillary rooms. DECISION TO REFUSE

Location: former Solas factory premises and lands, Corke Abbey, Bray, Co Dublin. Proposed development: 78 apartments in two three-storey blocks over basement car-parking for 103 cars, site and landscaping works. Applicant: Sequel Properties Ltd.

Location: Shell petrol station site at corner of Taney Grove and Taney Road, Dublin 14. Proposed development: demolish structures for three retail units, 22 apartments, 48 car-parking spaces, landscaping and site works. Applicant: Tansan Properties Ltd.

DUBLIN CITY COUNCIL

Location: Emerald Square, Dolphin's Barn, Dublin 8. Proposed development: seven three-storey dwellings (two one-beds, one two-bed and four three-beds) with car-parking and site works. Applicant: Michael Flood.

Location: The Chancery, 3-10 Chancery Lane, Dublin 8 (including part of the rear of 98 Bride Street, Dublin 8) and 100-101 Bride Street, Dublin 8. Proposed development: modify basement layout of the Chancery Building; amalgamate 92sq m (990sq ft) of external walkway and 97sq m (1,044sq ft) of external roof terrace at fifth floor level. Proposed development: demolish 17 Benburb Street (H Matthews pub) and factory building for 87 residential units (23 one-beds, 44 two-beds and 20 three-beds) in three blocks from four to 10 storeys. New public space at junction of Benburb Street and Hendrick Lane.
