Mr Neil McDermot who bought the Shakelton gardens, Beechpark, at Clonsilla, Dublin 15, has lodged a planning application for a restaurant and retail area in the grounds. It is proposed to develop a single storey internal area of about 27,000 sq ft and an external area of over 100,000 sq ft. The plan also provides for a restaurant and kitchen with over 6,000 sq ft of space and car-parking on site.
