Dublin 22/from €255,000: The final phase of apartments and duplexes at the Newlands Manor scheme near the Jurys Green Isle Hotel in Dublin 22 is being launched this week through Hooke & MacDonald with prices starting from €255,000.
There are 30 units available. Fifteen two-bedroom apartments with 67 sq m (725 sq ft) are priced from €255,000 and 15 three-bedroom duplexes of 107 sq m (1,160 sq ft) cost from €300,000.
Built by Garland Homes and designed by McCrossan O'Rourke architects, Newlands Manor is located just off the Naas Road and is a scheme of residential cul-de-sacs with a mix of houses and apartments.
It is nearing completion and earlier phases in this 137-home development are already occupied.
A major attraction at Newlands Manor is that the scheme adjoins the 280-acre Corkagh Park. This amenity - with lots of playing pitches, walkways, playgrounds and parkland - is on the western side of the development. The Cammock river runs through it and two fishing ponds are currently being installed to add to its attractions.
Another plus is the development's proximity to the N7, M50 and the new Tallaght-to-Connolly Station Luas line. In addition, the National Digital Park, the Citywest Business Campus and the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre are nearby.
The two-bedroom apartments typically have a large livingroom- cum-diningroom, a kitchen, an en suite main bedroom and a separate bathroom. The three-bedroom duplexes, which also come with the main bedroom en suite, have a floored 28 sq m (300 sq ft) attic space with an access ladder as standard.
Standard features at Newlands Manor include fitted wardrobes, fitted kitchen units, and double glazing.
The development is approached via an impressive pillared entrance with electric security gates and there are three separate pedestrian entrances into the development from Corkagh Park. Homes in this phase will be ready for occupation from May to September.
Previous schemes by Garland Homes include The Old Rectory in Lucan and Leinster Park at Harolds Cross. Show units are on view this weekend.
