WHAT, A property firm that is taking on people? After months of reporting nothing but gloom in the business, it was good to hear from McGinley, Farrelly O’Connor, a Ranelagh-based property services agency that opened its doors last September, and has been growing ever since.

Lettings, BER certs and dispute resolution are among the services offered by the young directors, who hope to mop up sales too in affluent Dublin 6, as soon as the market picks up. It’s been hard work all the way, says MD Marcus O’Connor, at the launch of the firm’s new website, www.mfo.ie, which gives a full rundown of the services available. But the company is looking for staff and hopes to get its numbers up to nine by the end of the year.
