Ski instructor-turned-property developer Michel Beaulieu will be in Dublin this weekend to offer properties in his development in Côté Nord, north of Montréal, Québec, Canada, to Irish buyers with agent Lisney.
It's on the north - apparently quieter - side of rapidly developing ski resort Mont Tremblant in the Laurentian mountains, one-and-a-half to two hours' drive from Montreal's international airport. Four and five-bedroom log cabins, built in traditional style with modern comforts, will cost from €319,149 to €535,461. People buying now can put their property into a rental pool for the first two years, with a return of about 5 per cent. Côté Nord is a winter and summer resort area, close to Mont Tremblant national park in Quebec - a wilderness area the size of Wales.
