ARCHITECTS Anthony Reddy and Associates and contractors P.J. Hegarty have won a competition to design and build a new 80,000-square-foot office building for the Department of Agriculture in the grounds of Johnstown Castle, Co Wexford. The £5 million building will be a combination of one and two storeys. The external walls will consist of local natural stone and white plaster while the roof will be laid with pitched slates. Internally, the building will include landscaped courtyards and double-height atrium spaces.
