AIB Investment Managers is currently carrying out a major refurbishment of Ferry House, a 25-year-old office block at Lower Mount Street, Dublin 2, which was recently vacated by National City Brokers. A new facade of stone cladding is being provided, along with a glazed curtain walling. Internally, the block will have raised floors and suspended ceilings. Joint agents Spain Courtney Doyle and Hamilton Osborne King are quoting rents of £16.50 per square foot for the ground and first floors, which have a total of 16,700 square feet. Space may be let in units from 2,600 square feet. Irish Progressive Building Society and computer training firm TDI will continue to occupy the two top floors. There are 25 basement car-parking places which will each cost an extra £1,500 per annum.
