Another development site is about to change hands in the north Dublin village of Kinsealy. Paula Costello of O'Farrell Cleere is quoting a guide price of £3 million for 5.75 acres located less than 100 metres from the Malahide Road. The rural village zoning will allow for a residential development. Other sites in the village, including 9.7 acres owned by former Taoiseach, Charles Haughey, with similar zoning have sold for around £600,000 an acre. The site is to be sold by tender on November 24th.
The same agents are marketing another site of 8.8 acres at Back Road in Malahide which is expected to fetch more than £3.5 million. It is directly opposite the grounds of Malahide Castle and is zoned to accommodate five houses. Three individual housing sites, each 2.5 acres, on the same road were recently sold by O'Farrell Cleere for £1 million each.
