Roches Stores plans a major redevelopment of its department store at Henry Street, Dublin 1. A planning application lodged this week seeks permission to change the facade and to provide an additional floor on top of the building for retail purposes.

In Clondalkin, Aldi Stores has sought permission for a new store of over 14,000 sq ft and car-parking at Newlands Cross, a busy junction on the west of Dublin city.

Meanwhile, Tracey Enterprises has sought permission for a four-storey office building with almost 38.500 sq ft at St Michaels, Rosemount, Dundrum Road, Dundrum, Dublin 14.
