Swords house on 2.76 acres makes €650,000 at auction
SAVILLS HOK secured €650,000 at auction yesterday for Hazelbridge, Knocksedan, Swords, Co Dublin, a two-storey house on a 2.76-acre elevated site.
In Dublin 4, a two-bed mid-terrace redbrick in need of modernisation, 6 Doris Street, Ringsend, was withdrawn at €275,000 from auction yesterday and agent Savills HOK is seeking offers of €360,000.
Colliers Jackson-Stops is seeking offers of €3.6 million for a five-bed period house - 67 Anglesea Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 - following its withdrawal from auction.
In Skerries, north Co Dublin, a dormer cottage, 39 Quay Street, was withdrawn at auction and is now quoting €475,000 through Kelly & Co.
In south Co Dublin, an artisan cottage on 0.7 acres, Fuchsia Lodge, Carthys Green, Stepaside, was withdrawn at auction and is under negotiation through Lisney. A four-bed house - Tullan, 41 Hyde Road, Dalkey, Co Dublin - was withdrawn at auction last week through Kilbride Auctioneers.
Elsewhere, Sherry FitzGerald O'Reilly fetched €2.25 million at auction for 64 acres of agricultural land at Newland North, Naas, Co Kildare and still in Co Kildare, 16.6 acres of agricultural land at Hazel Hatch, Celbridge, fetched €585,000 under the hammer through Savills HOK.
Coonan Real Estate Alliance secured €240,000 at auction for 19 acres of agricultural land at Boltown, Kells, Co Meath.
In Co Offaly, 13.6 acres of agricultural land at Rathfeston, Geashill, sold for €165,000 through Matt Dunne and Associates while in Ballintemple, Walsh Island, 3.3 acres of agricultural land made €43,000 at auction and 6.2 acres fetched €90,000 at auction through Matt Dunne & Associates.
In Co Wexford, a three-bed house on just over half an acre at Gurteen, Gorey, sold prior to auction through Quinn Property. The property had an AMV of €300,000. The same agent is seeking offers of €170,000 for a two-acre site with outline permission for a bungalow at Ahare, Castletown, Gorey, following its withdrawal at €130,000 at auction. A three-quarter acre site with full planning permission for a bungalow at Ballyduff, Ballycanew, Gorey, was withdrawn at €100,000 and is now quoting €130,000 through Quinn Property. Elsewhere in Co Wexford a two-bed cottage needing renovation on 0.33 acres at Broadway sold at auction for €77,000 through Kehoe & Associates.
In private treaty sales, a two-bed apartment, 4 Fitzherbert Wood, Navan, Co Meath sold for €215,000 through T&J Gavigan Real Estate Alliance. The same agent has sold a number of other properties: 60 The Park, Athlumney Wood, Navan, a four-bed end-terrace house, sold for €285,950; in the same development, 43 The Park, a three-storey townhouse sold for €244,950; 13 Elm Drive, Athlumney Wood, Navan, a three-bed semi sold for €255,000; a two-bed apartment, 65 Rivermill, Navan, sold for €135,000; and 49 Oakleigh, Dublin Road, Navan, a four-bed semi, sold for €270,000.
