Dalkey businessman Jim Delaney is putting the final touches to what must be the most ambitious apartment scheme in south Dublin, on Coliemore Road, Dalkey. The former Dalkey Island Hotel has been demolished and replaced by a spanking new block of super luxurious duplexes and apartments, all of them gazing to sea towards Dalkey Island. Some of these were sold from plans, including three duplexes which are now worth around £2 million each. However, it's not too late to pick up the final penthouse - a 2,200 sq ft pad which will cost you £1.7 million. There are also six twobedroom apartments available from £675,000 to £875,000. Mr Delaney is handling the sales himself, in between getting his new fish restaurant on the site ready for next Monday's official opening by Eddie Irvine.
