Dublin 2: from €365,000: Apartments in a prime south city centre location go on sale from plans today through joint agents Hooke & MacDonald and Gunne New Homes.
The Harcourt Mews site is off Camden Street in Dublin 2, near St Stephen's Green and the Harcourt Street Luas stop. A total of 19 one and two-bedroom apartments are on offer from €365,000 and €460,000, sized at 45sq m (480sq ft) and 66sq m (710sq ft) respectively. One three-bedroom penthouse with 81sq m (875sq ft) of living space costs €750,000.
Building has started and the first apartments are due for completion in early 2007, according to the joint agents. Developer O'Connor Flynn has a good track record in residential projects in the city.
Design by Niall D Brennan Architects, Harcourt Mews is contemporary, with copious amounts of glass and brick. The two small blocks will have retail units at ground floor level and apartments above. Apartments will be a good size, with balconies and an elevated deck area on the first floor which will access an inner courtyard.
Internal spec has not been confirmed in detail, although integrated kitchen appliances will be included in the price and heating will be electric.
There is no car-parking, in line with Dublin City Council's policy of car-free city centre development.
