A VICTORIAN villa close to the centre of Dalkey village sold after auction yesterday for just over the advised minimum value (AMV) of €625,000.
Number 52 Carysfort Road, off Ulverton Road, Dalkey, Co Dublin, was sold by Martin O’Mahony of O’Mahony Auctioneers in an executors’ sale. The three-bedroom house attracted around 160 viewers according to Mr O’Mahony.
Meanwhile, in Dartry, Dublin 6 a detached Edwardian house at 52 St Kevin’s Park fetched €1.55 million in Lisney’s auction room yesterday.
The house, which carried an AMV of €1.5 million, was chased by three bidders according to sales agent David Bewley.
