Lucan: from €245,000 The first apartments and duplexes at a mixed scheme in Lucan are being released this week through agents Hooke & MacDonald with prices from €245,000.

Larkfield Square, which is designed by architects McCrossan O'Rourke and developed by Fitzgibbon Brothers, has 56 apartments and duplexes. Being released are three-bedroom duplexes of 106 sq m (1,150 sq ft) priced from €290,000 and two-bedroom apartments of 65 sq m (710 sq ft) costing from €245,000.

The development, in a mature residential area just off the N4, is close to Lucan village and the M50. There is a QBC in to town nearby and the Liffey Valley shopping centre is a mile away. In addition, there is a range of local sporting and leisure facilities in the vicinity.

A signature of this development is the large number of mature trees incorporated into the landscaping, giving it a settled feel.

The homes in this phase are located in a three-storey block where the exterior is a mix of brick and colour render. Some have patios at garden level while the duplexes overhead have decent-sized balconies.

Standard features include gas-fired central heating, a feature fireplace, double glazing, the main bedroom en suite, fitted kitchens and fitted wardrobes. There is also plenty of communal car-parking.

The first show units at Larkfield Square are open from today till Sunday.
