The Spanish company Mango will be among the fashion retailers trading at the Pavilions Shopping Centre which is to open at Swords in north Dublin next March.

Mango, who currently trade at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre and in concession format at Arnotts in Henry Street, is likely to be paying a rent of £165,000 for almost 7,000 sq ft at first floor level. Other fashion retailers booked to take space in the centre include Pamela Scott, Sasha, Vera Moda and Morgan.

Easons are understood to have agreed a rent of about £175,000 for almost 7,000 sq ft. Lifestyle has outbid rivals for over 5,000 sq ft on the ground floor while Champion Sports will be relying on their dominant position in the market to generate sufficient business in their unit of 4,525 sq ft on the first floor.

Larry Brennan of Hamilton Osborne King estimates that over 75 per cent of the 275,000 sq ft of space in the centre has either been been committed or is under negotiation. Lambert Smith Hampton are the joint agents.
