A PRIVATE investor has paid £607,500 for the Spar supermarket building at 6 Merrion Road, Dublin 4. The net initial yield will be 6.85 per cent, according to William Fennelly of Lisney, who acted for the purchaser. Spar is paying a rent of £45,000 per annum under a 35-year lease from 1990. There are 929 square feet on the ground floor, a small basement store room and 600 square feet on the first floor, which have been sub-let. Spain Courtney Doyle handled the sale.
