A NEW retail group, Lets Talk Phones, is to pay a rent of £17,500 for a retail unit of 123 square feet at the St Stephen's Green Shopping Centre in Dublin. The group is seeking up to 15 other outlets for its operation, which specialises in low-cost sales of well-known brands of telephones phones and mobile phones. Stephen Murray of Jones Lang Wootton said Lets Talk Phones was in negotiations to take a shop in Limerick. It is also looking for units in successful shopping centres, as well as high streets.
Meanwhile, Lisney is seeking a premium of £20,000 for the leasehold interest in a former Xtravision store at 22/24 Sandymount Green. The 649-square-foot unit is rented at £15,500 per annum.
The same agency is quoting a rent of £15,000 or a selling price of £90,000 for a shop of 1,097 square feet at Kilnamanagh Shopping Centre in Dublin 24. The unit is occupied by Tylers, which is moving to a larger shop at The Square shopping centre.
