The high demand for quality residential sites in Belfast has been reflected in the sale of five acres of land in the north of the city for £3.15 million. Jago Brett of selling agents Lambert Smith Hampton described the price as "staggering". The site - on lower Fortwilliam Park between the Shore Road and Antrim Road in north Belfast - has permission for 22 detached houses and 12 semis. This equates to £616,000 per acre, or just under £93,000 per site. The guide price was £2 million.
